When the worst happens, ‘it’s going to be okay’ can be a mantra to help you endure the tough times.
About It's Going to Be OK
If you have anxiety, depression or any sense of the world around you, you know that not *everything* is going to be okay. In fact, many things aren’t okay and never will be!
But instead of falling into the pit of despair, we’re bringing you a little OK for your day. Every weekday, we’ll bring you one okay thing to help you start, end or endure your day with the opposite of a doom scroll.

Listener: I am not okay, but it’s going to be okay. I’m currently sitting in my brother’s apartment while my soon to be ex husband spends time with our kids in our home that we’ve lived in for eight years. We are three weeks into a divorce because he cheated on me and paid for sex and did multiple other horrible, horrible things.
All the while, I was busy planning our vacation and future. And all of that is over. I’m not okay. I’ve gone through a lot. My friends, my support group, and the tiny, tiny light at the end of this tunnel are all things that are keeping me going, so thank you for telling me the saying. It’s going to be okay, even though we don’t know what is.
That’s also what I’m telling my kids. It’s going to be okay. Everything will not be, but it will be.
