Maddie called to share the thing that always makes her smile when she sees them: bubbles.
About It's Going to Be OK
If you have anxiety, depression or any sense of the world around you, you know that not *everything* is going to be okay. In fact, many things aren’t okay and never will be!
But instead of falling into the pit of despair, we’re bringing you a little OK for your day. Every weekday, we’ll bring you one okay thing to help you start, end or endure your day with the opposite of a doom scroll.

Maddie: Hi Nora, this is Maddie and it’s going to be okay because we live in a world where there are bubbles and I don’t mean the Bubbles of personal space, although those are great too and those boundaries should be respected. I mean the bubbles made of soap and who knows what else, um, that you can blow, You can move a wand.
You can use the Frogger bubble machine to create, uh, bubbles are absolutely delightful and I cannot not smile when I see them. I am a newish mom and so I am re immersing myself in the world of bubbles, uh, because I have a toddler who is, Uh, absolutely loves them. And that’s the greatest part is seeing his pure joy and, uh, delight and joy.
Popping all the bubbles. Um, there’s a whimsical, peaceful, and there’s just something, uh, alluring and charming about their impermanence. And it lessens the sting just a little bit of the fact that we are impermanent and everything is impermanent. So, I encourage everyone to get, uh, some bubbles. Whether or not you have kids, I think that the world could use a little more bubble around.
