Christine: Hi, Nora. My name is Christine, and I live just outside of Philadelphia, and I wanted to share my OK thing.  So recently I’ve developed some health issues  and that have required a lot of doctor’s visits  and testing and generally requiring me  to slow down.  I work as a PA in North Philadelphia in the neonatal intensive care unit.

So slowing down isn’t  usually in my vocabulary, but, um, I’ve been forced to take some medical leave  to focus on my health. Um, additionally, um, I’ve, I lost my parents both to cancer about four years apart  and I’m always looking for signs from them.  And, um,  I had to get an MRI recently.  And I was feeling really nervous, obviously.

And  I walk into the MRI suite, and there’s  a huge mural of tulips on the wall.  And the thing is, is my mom was Dutch, and every time I see tulips, I think of her.  And I can’t help but think that seeing those tulips was a sign of something good. from her letting me know that she is with me. I’m not alone and that whatever the results are, whatever the outcome of  all my health things, that it’s going to be okay.

Thanks so much for this podcast. Bye.
