Few things in life can instantly transport us back in time. Today we hear from a listener who was transported back to college when she heard one song.
About It's Going to Be OK
If you have anxiety, depression or any sense of the world around you, you know that not *everything* is going to be okay. In fact, many things aren’t okay and never will be!
But instead of falling into the pit of despair, we’re bringing you a little OK for your day. Every weekday, we’ll bring you one okay thing to help you start, end or endure your day with the opposite of a doom scroll.

I’m Nora McInerny, and It’s Going To Be Okay.
On this podcast we love to share our okay things, but we LOVE to showcase what makes you feel okay.
Today, we got a good from from Sharon, who sent us an email:
I’m going through a time of tremendous change: I’m recently divorced, and I have a neurodegenerative disease that causes each day to be an adventure of self discovery. I Recently stopped working, so I have some time on my hands. Typically, It’s Going To Be OK is my first podcast of the morning, as I’d like to start things off on a positive note. Today I noticed I had been sent a link to a specific episode of a song analysis podcast from a friend. I listened to it, and thought it was cool, and started scrolling to see what other songs had been analyzed. There was an episode on Wuthering Heights by Kate BUSH, a song I have loved since college. It was pure joy to listen to the host geek out on the song for almost 90 minutes analyzing every bit of it and playing it over and over again. It took me back to the time, place, and people that I had first heard it with. The intersection of those memories with the brilliance of Kate Bush, and the obsessive dedication of the podcast host reminded me that it’s going to be OK.
