Okay Listener: Hi, Nora and team. My name is Kayla and I’ve been listening to the podcasts. Um, it’s going to be okay since the first One. And I’ve always wanted to find that my it’s going to be okay thing to send to you. I was born and raised in Albania and I live in New England for the last 10 years of my life.
And now that I am recording this, I’m actually in Sweden. Uh, my husband and I are visiting Sweden and Denmark, which is an it’s going to be okay thing in itself, since this is the first time in seven years since my first born daughter was born, and that we are, that we are going away for more than two nights.
Um, we are away for eight days from both kids, um, and that in itself, it’s, Um, I am just so happy to be able to do that. Um, I’m listening to your podcast here in Lund, in Sweden, and I thought I’d send this. My OK thing, what makes me feel it’s going to be OK, always has been the sun. I grew up with 300 Days of sun, um, but I always took natural sunlight and sun for granted until I moved to New England, um, and even though I’m used to cold and snow, and it doesn’t bother me too much here in Sweden, um, because it is cold, there’s not much snow, but a little bit, so that doesn’t bother me, but what bothers me is the lack of sun.
It’s darkness. And there’s sure far more darkness here than there is in New England, which I thought it couldn’t be topped with the cold and the snow. Um, but here it is. It’s the sun is incredible when it comes out today. I open the curtains and it’s sunny outside and it’s incredible. And there’s that magic of sun that just makes you get up, go, face it, just smile a little bit more, a little bit longer.
And that’s what I’m going to do. I’m just going to get out now and, um, go to a bakery and get some, something yummy. They have amazing pastries here. And just face the sun. Um, I have brought my sunglasses. From U.S. and I haven’t put them once because there’s not much sun and when there is I don’t want to have them on and I Just I don’t know.
I’m just so happy. I’m looking I’m here at the fourth floor of the hotel and which is awesome Because I would have a different view if I was in the first floor I wouldn’t be able to see the sun, but I can, I can see all the majesty of the sunlight coming through, filtering through the windows, and it makes me so happy.
It makes me feel that it’s going to be okay.
